Hissy Fit - community development

Hissy Fit was created with children from the Phoenix Centre youth services and explored snakes and our instinctive fears. The kids were involved in the creation of stories around the snakes, and in the tangible task of making their skins. Their paintings and images were incorporated into the skin of the puppets, so that up close, each creature had a rich and shimmering coat. Hissy Fit culminated in a performance and snake making workshops at Stonnington's Pets in the Park Festival.
